Privacy Notice
Effective July 4, 2026
Overview
This Privacy Notice describes how Beachcomber handles information submitted through the public site and information used within the private operating console. It is written for the current Beachcomber application and should be reviewed with counsel before any production deployment or material change in data use.
Information submitted through the public site
When you submit the contact form, Beachcomber may record your name, email address, organization, inquiry topic, message, consent to contact, submission time, and limited technical data used for fraud prevention. The public contact form is not intended for sensitive personal, financial, title, tax, legal, authentication, or account information.
How information is used
Contact submissions are used to review and respond to the stated inquiry, maintain a secure administrative intake queue, prevent abuse, and improve site operations. Beachcomber does not use a public contact submission to make an automated investment, credit, title, legal, or eligibility decision about you.
Private-console information
The private console is designed to hold research evidence, operational records, policy controls, user accounts, and audit events for authorized operators. Access is role-scoped. Credentials saved through the administrator interface are encrypted server-side and are not displayed after saving.
Sharing and retention
Beachcomber does not sell contact-form information. Information may be accessed by authorized operators and service providers necessary to operate the deployment, subject to applicable agreements and law. Retention should be limited to the operational purpose, legal obligations, security needs, and approved record-retention policy.
Security
Beachcomber uses technical and organizational controls appropriate to its deployment, including role-based access, audit records, and encrypted credential storage. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not transmit sensitive information through the public form.
Your choices
You may request information about a public contact submission or ask that it be updated or deleted where applicable law permits. Use the Contact page and identify the email address used for the submission.
Changes
This notice may be updated when Beachcomber’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date below indicates the latest revision.
